Olly’s audio industry career commenced in 2003 where he learnt his trade as a house sound engineer for a local theatre. Throughout his time in the industry Olly has covered many aspects of live and recorded audio, including rock n roll concert touring, corporate events, Olympic games events, outside broadcast and theatre productions. 15 Years on, Olly’s primary focus is now musical theatre sound design culminating in a recent move to Orbital Sound Limited, where he holds a position in Sound Design and Project Development.
Recent productions include: Fat Friends the Musical (World Premiere, Leeds Grand Theatre), Young Frankenstein (Garrick Theatre, London), Bat Out of Hell (World Premiere, Coliseum Theatre, London), Strictly Ballroom (West Yorkshire Playhouse and Toronto Seasons), Disney’s Cinderella (Rossiya Theatre, Moscow), Singin’ in the Rain (Rossiya Theatre, Moscow), The Producers (Touring Production, UK), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Paris, Moscow and Netherlands Productions), Rocky Horror Show (UK and Australian Tours), Sister Act (Circus Theatre, Netherlands).
