I studied technical theatre at LAMDA where I earned a diploma in Stage Management and Technical Theatre, graduating in 2005.
Upon graduating I worked as a freelancer in fringe theatre doing sound designs, and also as an operator in fringe and larger theatre productions. I did not limit myself to sound however and took on roles in lighting and stage management too.
After feeling like I was drifting away from my true calling of the sound department, I decided to extend my training and went back to college; I gained distinctions in both Studio and Live Sound Engineering Diploma courses from Alchemea College of Audio Engineering in 2010.
I went on to cut my teeth working in sweaty nightclubs and small gigs. I worked at Alchemea as Course Co-ordinator for the Live Sound Diploma from 2011 until June 2013 whilst continuing to freelance at all sorts of events. I then moved into education full-time as Head of Sound at RADA until 2015. I have been freelancing since then, working in live music, theatre, and audio drama.
