QLab Skills Sharing Workshop (Newcastle)

Thursday 22nd June 10am - 4.45pm

A day of peer led learning and skills exchange for designers and technical practitioners who use QLab's professional audio features. This day-long event will create a relaxed environment for brushing up on old skills, learning new ones and sharing tips and tricks with peers. The morning will focus on developing core QLab skills and is appropriate for anyone who is new-to the software or would benefit from a refresher of best practices. The afternoon session will focus on integrating QLab with the wider show control ecosystem as well as providing a space for attendees to try out features and techniques that could elevate their existing QLab skillset.

Through support from Northern Stage's technical team and CALM Theatre Sounds hire company, there will be fully licensed QLab 4 and QLab 5 machines to work with, although bringing your own Mac with QLab 4 or 5 already installed will allow you to get the most out of the sessions.
