More about Clare:

Clare is the Sound Lecturer on the BA Production Technology Management course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2004 with a first class honours in Sound Design for Theatre. In 2013 she completed at PCGE at Canterbury Christchurch University, Kent which led to teaching science at a large comprehensive school for 2 years. She has recently completed her PGCert in Higher Arts Education and is now studying for a Masters in Higher Arts Education.

 

Previous sound work includes Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (London Palladium and National Tour 2004-6), Chichester Festival Theatre (Summer Season 2006), Nicholas Nickleby (National Tour 2007), Mamma Mia (International Tour2008-9), Love Never Dies (London 2010), Shrek the Musical (London 2011), Matilda the Musical (London 2012), Senior Sound Technician at the Royal Opera House Muscat (Oman 2015-18) and Counting and Cracking (Belvoir St Theatre- UK tour 2022).

  

Clare contributed a chapter to the book ‘Audio Education: Theory, Culture and Practice’, edited by Daniel Walzer and Mariana Lopez.
