Biog
I'm a Freelance Sound Engineer working in the live sound industry, specifically in musical theatre. I graduated with a degree in Sound Technology from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where I also received the Sennheiser Student Achievement Award.

After university, I joined the tour of Dreamboats and Petticoats as Sound No.2/Instrument Tech, where I stayed for a year, before taking up a position as an Audio and Comms operator for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies. More recently I have been working on Rock of Ages in the West End as Sound No.3.

I am always up for a challenge and aim to bring a detailed and enthusiastic approach to everything I work on.

Special services offered:
Proficient with many analogue and digital mixing systems, including Yamaha PM1D/5D, M7CL and LS9; Avid (previously Digidesign) Venue Profile and completed training on a wide range of DiGiCo consoles including the SD8, SD9, SD-Ten and SD11.

Experience with many Sennheiser and Shure wireless microphone and IEM systems and am well read and up-to-date on recent changes to radio mic frequency licensing since the digital switchover.

Experience with high-end playback and show control systems including QLab and SCS as well as other industry standard software including Logic Studio and Pro Tools. I also have a good knowledge of MIDI, timecode and wired and wireless communications systems.

Proficient as an instrument technician, especially for guitars and drums but more recently for some brass and woodwind. I am a self-taught musician and can play guitar, bass and drums to a reasonable standard.
